Disheveled beauty and a raw emotionality contributes to my interest in a candid and macabre style. I am inspired by fashion photography that explores the enchanted and unreal. In my photographs I use an unconventional and theatrical style to explore concealed and suppressed emotional states.
I am motivated by the desire to document and encapsulate emotional expressions of people and places. I think that the people and places I encounter are often charged with an emotional poignancy. Such striking emotional exchanges encourages me to contain, portray and preserve expressions and encounters through the medium of photography
