Posted: May 9, 11:44 amCommon Threads is a project funded by the Arts Council Wales that uses printed textiles as a medium to explore food security and sustainability as a means to accommodate pervasive nourishment into urban spaces. The role of food production within a city will be explored not only as a biologically nourishing resource, but a visiblle process that also has the consequence of uniting bodies in a space that encouraging social exchange while re skilling an indiscrimanate public membership.

26/12/09 - This is Rubbish; The process preparing for Feeding the 5000
Posted: Dec 26, 07:57 pmSince Climate Camp 2009 I’ve been working hard in Machynlleth with an amazing group of friends and activists. In two months we created our campaign objectives through consensus based discussion and decision making and created a campaign strategy that we got to deliver at Feeding the 5000. It was an amazing process resulting in almost a liquid tonne of fruit smoothie “waste”, almost 5000 people fed and quenched and 1000 letters signed. Not bad for the first delivery of “rubbish”.
